Mrs. Sarojini Rao

Mrs. Sarojini Rao, Managing trustee of Indus International Community School and Principal of Indus International School, Bangalore stood first in the University in Economics and is a double postgraduate in Education and Economics. She is trained in all the three IB programmes (PYP, MYP and DP). Mrs. Rao is also a graduate from the Principal’s Training Center for International School Leadership, USA. The courses that she was trained in are:

• Curriculum and Resource Development
• Instructional Supervision
• Leadership and Group Dynamics
• Creating and Administering an Effective school

Prior to being the Principal of Indus International School, she was the Director Curriculum at Indus where she has successfully co-ordinated the implementation of IB and IGCSE in the School Curriculum.

Mrs. Sarojini Rao has also been instrumental in Planning the curriculum and inter-curriculum strategy, defining academic and non academic objectives for the school, upgrading yardsticks for multiple intelligences, conducting Seminars and teacher training. Most recently, she also played a pivotal role in formulating the Entrepreneurship Curriculum and Instructional supervision and Evaluation model for the School.
