Delegation visit from Binghamton University
A delegation from Binghamton University, State University of New York visited IICS on 29 th November 2018. The delegation included Dr. Laura Bronstein (Dean of College of Community and Public affairs), Dr. Liz Anderson (Professor of Education), Dr. Youjung Lee (Professor of Social work), Dr. Jennifer Gillis Mattson (Professor of Psychology and Associate Director of Institute of Child Development), Dr. Chloe Bland (HOD and Professor of Psychology from College of St. Elizabeth) and Svetlana Iyer (Director of Stepping Stones Center, Bangalore). They were accompanied by Ms. Sujaya Lakshmi Sheshu, Principal of IICS, Ms. Mala Palani, Director of ITARI and Mr. Vivek Mashru, Director of Marketing, Indus Trust. The delegates took a tour of IICS guided by Saniya Taj and Mustafa Khan (Head Girl and Head Boy). The purpose of their visit was to understand the context of Indian education system and the spectrum of schools (from Government to International). They interacted with the students of IICS asking them about their academics, extracurricular activities and experience in IICS. They also interacted with the teachers on the innovative strategies, which they implement in the teaching and learning process.
